I forgot just how much I love the feel of doTerra's Reveal Facial System, and honestly I needed that. I have been packing for our weekend getaway and didn't realize how much that would take out of me so I was trying to think of a way to boost my energy and look what I "Revealed" 🙂 It honestly feels like I just washed away wrinkles! A refreshing citrus smell awakens the senses and afterward leaves your skin feeling like silk!

This is one of my favorite hand lotions! Not only does it feel great it smells divine! If you would like to see this and many other great products feel free to visit my doTerra store at

A busy day around the home-front. After the chiropractor appointment I stopped by our co-op store to pick up a few items. I was so excited when the gal checking me out mentioned they are going to be starting a work/membership. If you can volunteer there for about 3 hours a week you will be qualified for their membership which will also include 25% off! After that I stopped by the Dollar Tree to pick up a few containers and was very pleasantly surprised at the art isle, nice deals! So finally got home and put a second coat on my crafts!

These are little Mason jars and I am hoping to use them as garden makers. I will have to put some kind of weather protecting coat on them before that. The other idea that I had was to paint them more like my doTerra oil bottles and use them as magnets to give away at one of my classes. Yes I said classes, I have decided my teaching days can not be over. However, the age of my students might vary, and I will be teaching about something that I really love, use, and want to share with others!

My little shutter received a second coat of paint and today at the dollar tree I was able to pick up some adorable mini clothes pins. this will go lovely together. I am hoping to use this as part of my oil presentation for on line and in class, Hopefully I will be able to display some pictures and recipes!

A little view of the one planting table from the indoor garden. As you can see I am really running out of room. However, I will squeeze as much as I can in every inch because I LOVE planting!

I do not normally do very well in the kitchen department, but today I decided it was time to give it a whirl. The above picture shows a pumpkin/cranberry/nut cake with a hint of lemon! That's one of the many reasons I love doTerra oils because you can digest them!

It took a very long time but here is the almost finished product. The last step is to add the pumpkin glaze which needs to be done once it cools. Of course I did not have the patience to wait that long because I have a duty to my loyal blog followers to get a blog out!

A quick update for the shabby chic crafts. The little shutter and Mason jar have their first coat on them. The green is named celery and the pink is called ballet slipper! Hopefully tomorrow they will get their second coat!

An up close of the little shutter that I painted with the celery color!

An up close of the Mason jar with the ballet slipper color!

And look at this, the radishes are growing! whoot whoot!

What an awesome day of great finds! I was looking for just a few things today but to my great astonishment I found much more! This adorable little planter chair was only $12.99, what a great deal Then I also decided to go ahead and add three more beauts to the already flourishing indoor garden in this planter the Violet found its new home!

The next great find was this awesome hanging planter! Oh do I have plans for this one, I plan to hang this in the kitchen and fill it with all the herbs I can!

Speaking of herbs these little guys are not the happiest, this is the third try with basil and parsley hopefully they will take and I think my cilantro is a little water logged only time will tell!

Introducing the second new addition this is a grafted cactus, isn't she just adorable. I just couldn't let her waste away so now she is home to stay!

The third and final addition for today at least is the fairy cactus! she had purple and pink flowers but by the time I got home and replanted her they were all gone. You should follow my blog to see if they come back!

Rump Roast is in the oven, hoping it turns out well!

Baby yellow potatoes and carrots are boiling on the stove!

Whats a meal without these scrumptious rolls!

And of course desert, a choice of pumpkin pie or apple cobbler or both!

So excited this weekend we found a wonderful deal at Menard's! We had to go there in order to fix our bathroom fan that was broken and of course as long as we were there I had to check out the gardening isle and boy oh boy am I glad I did! Each little greenhouse in the above picture was only $4.99! and they are from one of my favorite companies dunecraft! I could hardly wait to get these little ones going so I will post below the pictures as I started them!

Each of the little greenhouses came with the seed packets and this round pod, Just add about 1.2-2 cups of water and within just a few minutes you have beautiful planting soil. With a little stirring and mixing to ensure all pieces are broken up I planted each and everyone of them.

Tomato was planted!

Mini Melons were planted!

                                                     Strawberries were planted!

                                             Sugar Baby Watermelon were planted!

All planted and have their spot next to the growing light!

Another great deal at Menard's only $4.99 each for these Himalayan Pink Salt. Great things can be made with these!!

A very dreary day and still dealing with some sickness around here. I decided what better way to get a more calming feel in the house then to diffuse a little peppermint! Ahhh! what a relief!

A new month is here and has been for a couple of days so I thought it was the right time to introduce the oil of the month. Peppermint! Not only does peppermint have a refreshing, cool, and minty smell it also has been known to help the body with respiratory problems, improve blood circulation, has a cooling effect for pain, fever, and hives, also can be rubbed on the temple and neck for headaches, stress, nausea, and dizziness( Using Essential Oils A Beginners Guide from www.shareOils.com) This month I will add other uses for peppermint and also some great DIY recipes using this great oil!

Here is an update on the doll, she is nearly finished. However, I am not too pleased with the eye lashes. She still has to get her bottom lashes on and could really use some more hair, but I was out so just dealing with what I have. Her outfit is compliments of my grandmother who is a huge Minnie Mouse fan! My grandmother is also the proud owner of another doll that I made! Who knows maybe she will like this one more?

A quick peek at the tomatoes they are looking a lot better and starting to stand up a little more, I think they are happy with their freedom! Hopefully they will start to become even more hardy! I have been busy looking up lots of great homesteading information and will share that with you soon!

So on the first day of March good old Wisconsin hands us a little blizzard! I have to admit it's pretty and for me I like it because this is the time of year when the snow is just dirty looking so this made everything nice and white again! Good thing I have my indoor gardens to keep my busy and boy did they ever keep my busy!

Happy to announce that the morning glories have been rescued from their captivity in the starter kit and moved to their very own little pots. Hopefully this will help them green up a bit and continue to grow so when spring finally does show up I will be able to plant them around my trellis.

In addition to the morning glories the tomatoes finally are moved, they were really starting to look a little sad. So again I hope this move gives them a little boost and they become strong and vibrant ready for the garden!

Well I can never leave a space open with nothing in it so I decided to throw in some radish seeds, just for fun. Just wanted to see if they will even pop up! If they do I think it would be pretty cool to have a fresh radish in a couple of weeks or more!

Had to give a little update on the other two wacky things I have going. As you can see in the above picture the crystals are starting to grow, how exciting! However, the picture below shows a lonely little terrarium with no budding cacti yet. I moved them both out to the "artificial sun" area so hopefully that will do them both a little more good, the last couple of days have been rather dreary so the need for fake sun is pretty high! Just a quick note on the doll, no picture today maybe tomorrow due to getting her lashes done!
