The indoor garden is just booming! The radishes are loving their new home, and as you can see in the picture they are reaching for that artificial sunlight! Not sure whats happening with the seed starter kit behind the radishes though, nothing seems to be popping up yet. I think I will give it another week or two and then go with something new! Can't be holding up the space if nothing is going to grow!!

A little shabby chic update, I put the last coat of paint on the large jar on the right and the mug, also the Faith sign and wooden bottles received their last coat of paint. Then I went a little painting crazy I started another large jar, that is on the left and has it's first coat of paint.

Then I found an old terracotta planter and thought this needs an update, and also started on the bird house. So much fun turning everything shabby chic!

I also am proud to say that I found the goats milk soap kit and molds at Michael's yesterday and this morning I was able to cut them and prepare to make my fist batch of soap!

This kit made it so easy, all you have to do is cut the desired amount put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir and put it back in the microwave for 10 more seconds, repeating this until it's completely melted then add your choice of essential oils, I went with my doTerra Lavender for a nice calming bar. Then pour the mixture in to the mold and wait for 40 minutes or if you are like me until you have become so busy doing other stuff you forgot about it and once you remember carefully pop the soap out of the mold.

Here are the finished products! Four bars of goat milk, lavender soap. I can't wait to give these as gifts or prizes at the next doTerra class!

Presentation is everything right?  I had fun looking through some of my craft drawers to find something that would look nice, fresh, and springy. I think they turned out pretty cute!

So here is the little shutter in all it's glory! I found some awesome shabby chic accessories to add, I think this will work well when showcasing the oil of the month. I am trying to make a collection of items so when it comes time to do a show, party, or have a class I will be more prepared and just have to pack the items up!

I was so excited when I received my planner for my doTerra business. There is a lot to do and so much to learn but I am excited about this journey and feel that this may be the right time for me to focus on something as positive and helpful as doTerra essential oils!

So this is the awesome PIPES that I can do daily to help my in my journey with my doTerra business, P=Prepare, I=Invite, P=Present, E=Enroll, S=Support. I really enjoy these reminders every day, I really feel that doTerra offers you great materials to learn and I must say I love learning about essential oils!

So as you can see I have been working out times, dates, and would like to add a party/class if anyone is interested! I am excited to say you wont be disappointed!

These are the steps to take to qualify for higher levels and I am going to achieve this!

This is the end GOAL!! I am going to make this, I don't know how, or when but I am determined that this will eventually be all filled in! You can be a part of making this dream come true in addition to making a dream of your own come true as well, whether that be just paying wholesale for your oils, or creating a team of your own and getting your oils that you use paid for. This is a wonderful company with extremely awesome products check out my store for yourself at,

I forgot just how much I love the feel of doTerra's Reveal Facial System, and honestly I needed that. I have been packing for our weekend getaway and didn't realize how much that would take out of me so I was trying to think of a way to boost my energy and look what I "Revealed" 🙂 It honestly feels like I just washed away wrinkles! A refreshing citrus smell awakens the senses and afterward leaves your skin feeling like silk!

I have been thinking a lot about chickens in the garden. I researched some pros for having chickens in the garden and found that they not only give you fresh eggs they also keep your yard free of nasty bugs. There is the droppings to think about but again if they are in the garden their droppings will add much needed nitrogen for a more healthy soil. Chickens that we have had in the past were also great little scrap eaters, meaning when you have some kitchen scraps they will gladly gobble them up for you. Taking care of chickens is not a really difficult job, but it is a good way to teach children responsibility.  They also provide great outdoor entertainment, our chickens had free run of the entire back yard. They would often follow us where ever we were especially if we were weeding I think they thought we were looking for a treat, when we would find a worm or grub they were very excited to come over and get it for us. Another favorite was to watch them take a dust bath, they would find a sandy spot in the yard then roll and fluff their feathers to get the sand all over. They would also come when called and enjoyed a little snack of bread or corn, Well I think I have talked myself right back into getting chickens, I truly do miss the little flock that  we had! We will need to find a better way of protecting our little flock, there seems to be a raccoon, weasel, or mink we are not sure what it was because we never saw the nasty varmint  we were just grief stricken to see what had happened to our beloved little flock.

A quick update on the doll, I have a long way to go but thought I would add a picture of what it's looking like right now, Today I was able to finish the nails, the dry matte finish and start to add some of the weighing material. I also added the eyes because I know looking at a doll with no eyes seems a little bit freaky to some. Now I will be able to start the rooting process for adding a little hair.

Adding a few drops of Melaleuca to your diffuser will help to freshen and purify the air, adding a few drops to a water spray bottle will give you a cleaner to spray on surfaces to help protect from environmental threats

I am so excited, went to water the indoor garden and what to my wondering eyes should appear? That's right...SPROUTS! What a glorious sight on this very cold February afternoon! I have been doing some reading for upcoming blogs and was tossing up the idea of free range chickens for the garden the pros and cons. Maybe you could leave a comment on what you think about adding chickens to the backyard garden.

Just love having an Aloe plant, however this big guy really needs to be replanted and spaced out a bit, What a lovely gift a little Aloe plant would make for loved ones on Valentines Day, I better get started and also get some small planters for them. Dollar Tree here I come!

I wanted to give myself a treat today after having physical therapy and still trying to heal I decided to use my diffusser and add a couple drops of Frankincense. I usually would never use the King of oils in such a fashion but today I thought I needed a little bit of pampering!  In reality my whole family will actually benefit from this, because the whole room has the wonderful aroma of Frankincense!

The Winter berry also called Gaultheria Procumbens is a creeping wintergreen ideal for ground cover. It's leaves are dense and glossy looking, turning a reddish hue towards fall.In June this luscious little plant will produce white to pink flowers then later turning to the red berries as seen in ours which is in our indoor garden area. These berries are edible. speaking of the indoor garden, today I was able get the tomatoes planted in addition to cucumbers, peas, thyme, and lavender. I also added this adorable little planter as seen in the picture below, Giving a shout out to Family Dollar for providing such a lovely little addition for our indoor garden! Please follow this blog so you can see just what happening with our indoor garden and what we will be featuring next!
